Villa Malaathina is a brand new, privately owned Villa, set amongst lush green rice paddie fields near downtown Seminyak, Bali.
Malaathina opens fresh horizons for an elite lifestyle on one of the world’s most famous tropical islands. The villa is conveniently located 25 minutes from Denpasar airport and 10 min from the famous restaurants and boutiques and luxury bars of Seminyak. Malaathina also provides the perfect setting for birthdays, weddings, events, reunions and Yoga retreats. The peaceful setting allows you the option to sample the boutique bar and fine-dining restaurant scene, white sand beaches and other attractions provided by Seminyak, Ubud, Kuta and The Bukhit and then return to a relaxed ‘haven’ after your day out. The contemporary-designed estate features seven-bedrooms and occupies over 50 Are (5000sq meters). The villa is self-contained with a 25m swimming pool, private coffee shop, teppanyaki-grill dining area, indoor; air conditioned living, dining and bar areas, outdoor; living, dining and bar areas, media room, fully equipped gymnasium, dedicated yoga facility and sunset viewing veranda.
Malaathina provides an exceptional team of 20 staff headed by a Villa Manager who is most likely Bali’s finest and most knowledgeable. Our team also includes a talented and experienced Chef and driver.
Villa Malaathina has 5 suites that are enhanced by rich wooden floors and bordered by tasteful marble. Some suites also have pitch style roofs creating space and the ambience of a tropical villa with a modern twist.
All suites are created with a great focus on space. They contain; a living area fully fitted out with large plasma TV, DVD player, Bose sound system, and iPod docking station. Each King size bed is of the highest quality from King Koil and all linen is white and fresh. Our pillows especially get a great wrap from guests!
Some suites can transform into a ‘twin share’ style rooms allowing friends to share in the same comfort as master bedrooms.
Each bathroom is extra spacious and includes twin vanities and an indoor, above ground bathtub. All finishings are of the highest standard.
The combined bedroom and living area also features a writing desk with large windows that looks over the lush rice fields of Bali. All open to a private terrace furnished with day beds and shaded areas.

Malaathina’s staffing is exceptional. Like any 5star hotel, Malaathina has a full hospitality management team. We have 19 staff to make your trip effortless.

Villamanager –
Dede is extremely ‘well connected’ in Bali. He has been in hospitality and VIP services in Bali for his whole career. Dede is very comfortable with large groups and wedding organization. He is the ‘go to person’ for all our guests and the villa owners.
Chef
Ketut is the villa chef. His years of experience in hospitality, hotels and private restaurants positions Ketut among the very best in Bali. His ability to design menus from balinese, western, italian to japanese cuisines and keep it fresh and interesting is unbelievable! He cooks a mean teppanyaki too, straight from the fresh fish market.
As Malaathina is also a recognized retreat centre for yoga and meditation, Ketut has spent a considerable amount of time researching ‘healthy food’ and detox menus. He is assisted in the kitchen by Koman.
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping department is made up of 4 people. They attend not only to your room but are an integral part of keeping the villa so beautiful!

We have a strong service team on hand to keep your food and beverage needs flowing.
Gardners
The villas two gardeners do an outstanding job at keeping the environment fresh, clean and cared for. The landscaping at malaathina is well thought out and allows for many knooks and cranneis to have quiet time.
Security
The villa has a security guard on duty 24/7. The department is made up of 4 security guards trained and well groomed to be the villas first impression. Your privacy and protection is paramount at this villa.
Maintenance men
The villa has two resident engineering men. They are on call 24/7 within the villa for any maintenance needs. So your stay at the villa is smooth sailing from beginning to end.
Driver
We have a full time driver available for your stay. He is knowledgable about places of interest and can advise you on tours you can do while visiting Bali. He will take you to spa appointment, take you shopping or to any destination.

- Spa : In villa treatments selected from a comprehensive spa menu can be carried out by professional beauty therapists (extra cost applies).
- Transport : A car and driver is available at a special rate of US$ 35++ for up to eight hours a day excluding petrol. If additional transport is required, don’t hesitate to ask your villa manager to call one of the island’s safe and reasonably priced metered taxis, or to organise day or half-day car and driver hire for sightseeing (additional cost).
- Events : Weddings and events for up to 60 people (sitting) and 100 people (standing) can be arranged at the villa with prior notice.
- Additional facilities : Barbecue; diesel powered back-up generator; safety deposit box in each room
- Property area : 5,000 sqm (land).
